Tim Hough grew up in Toronto and is a multi-disciplined artist. He received his training at the Ontario College of Art and was involved in the off-campus studies program in Florence, Italy. He became interested in art at an early age and at 12 took art courses at the Art Gallery of Ontario. In high school he became interested in drawing the human figure, and in illustration. While at O.C.A. he had a variety of different courses that included drawing, painting, illustration, printmaking and animation. After graduating from O.C.A. he has worked as a caricaturist and illustrator.He is accomplished in many different media whether it be in oil, acrylic, watercolour, tempera, pencil, pen and ink, conte or mixed media.
