1978 - Education: University of Central England Birmingham School of Jewellery and Silversmithing

1979 - Tutored by Ronald Pennell, Master Glass Engraver and Designer

1979 - British Jewellers Association -1 st Prize Top Student Award

          British Jewellers Association - 1 st Prize Drawing & Design Award

1980 - City & Guilds of London Institute (with Distinctions)

          British Jewellers Association - 1 st Prize Top Student Award

          British Jewellers Association - 1 st Prize Drawing & Design Award

1981 - City & Guilds of London Institute (Advanced - with Distinctions)

1981- Mentored by Stuart Devlin, world famous goldsmith in London

1982 - Emmigrates to Toronto , Canada , as silversmith and engraver.

1983 – NHL - replica trophies of the Hart, Norris and Calder trophies

1984 - Re - establishes Raynes & Co. Ltd (a company first founded in 1873 by Raynes great, great grandfather)

1985 - “In Flight” Vase - Mr & Mrs. James Dunlap, President, Texaco

1986 - Crystal Award - Lt. Governor of Ontario , the Hon. John Black Aird

1987 - “Man In Motion” Crystal - Rick Hansen, Canadian who goes “around the world” wheelchair athlete

1988 - Calgary Olympic Winter Games - Crystal presented by Canadian Secretary of State, Joe Clark

1988 - Becomes Canadian Citizen

1989 - named Associate Fellow of Guild of Glass Engravers, England
